We are partnering with Art of Life Cancer Foundation for the theme of "Art of Life".

As usual the broad theme is meant to inspire a variety of presentations, art in life and all it's beauty is the focus for the night.

Art of Life Cancer Foundation provides healing arts programs that pair cancer survivors with outstanding local artists in order to co-create unique pieces of art about life, hope, and suvivorship.

PechaKucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format where a presenter prepares 20 images, timed at 20 seconds each. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images.

If you are interested in presenting or want to know more, please email the PK coordinator, Barbara Coy-Hogan at

Pecha Kucha
PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.

It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of conversation ("chit chat"), it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.
It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
