Lance Canales and the Flood
Lance Canales and the Flood
“Lance Canales and The Flood”, features a new sound that was born out of a bluesy, rootsy, folk rock with a Native Americana twist. With the Earth shacking bottom end of the Upright bass and the natural rhythm of the Cajon (Box Drum) add an acoustic guitar and a Native American Flute and you have LC & The Flood. “Lance Canales and the Flood” are currently working on new music for there album "RootStomp". They will be scattering their sound across the country on a tour in fall of 2011.

Lance Canales
Lance Canales was born and raised in the southern foothills of California’s Central Valley where he literally lived the life so many folk and blues artists have written songs about since the birth of roots music, hard labor, one room shacks and taunting ghosts whispering of a better life, owning nothing but the music in your head. It would take years for Canales to connect his history to his own sound -branded “Native Americana” by fans- tuning down his smooth yet gravelly vocals, compared to the likes of music legends Tom Waits and Greg Brown, as he tuned up his acoustic guitar to slip and slide in delta swamp water while executing a clean picking style. Richie Blue
Richie Blue
Biography

Recent inductee into"The Blues Hall of Fame"Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Richie Blue's blistering guitar playing and heart and soul vocals have taken him to his current status as one of the top drawing acts on the club and festival circuit all over California, the northwestern states, Canada, and Mexico. His brand of music although rooted in the blues, is a blend of rock-a-billy, country swing, New Orleans swamp, and soul.

Born and raised in Washington State, Richie won his first talent show contest in 1969 and went on to play in succesful 1970s northwest bands such as The Nashband and Greasewood before moving to San Francisco in 1980. His stint with The Fabulous Beaumont Brothers featuring Amos Garett brought attention to Richie's Twangin Blues and slide playing. Soon he was gigging the San Jose, San Francisco and Sacremento club and festival circuit with just about everyone in sight — some big names, others not so big — but always adding his tasteful, graceful, unpredictable and amazing guitar playing!

Richie began performing with his own band in 1994 and has released three CDs on the San Francisco Farmboy label. His original song "Rooster" has been performed by the band Zero, Norton Buffalo, Stu Blank, The Sonoma Swampdogs and other Bay Area blues bands! With production help from Norton Buffalo and Steve Miller, Richie recorded and shopped his song "Run Through The Night" with favorable notices!

Wherever Richie performs, the place is jumpin' and he has lived up to his buisness card slogan "No Bar Too Far". Richie has been a guest guitarist on 30+ albums and CDs! The following is a list of a few notable artists Richie has performed, toured and or recorded with: Amos Garrett, Steve Warner, Doug Kershaw, Roy Clark, Little Anthony, The Drifters, Fabian, Elvin Bishop, Norton Buffalo, Steve Miller, B.B. King, Little Milton, Johnny Copeland, Buddy Miles, Terry Hanck, Johhny V, Tommy Tu Tone, Bobby Voltage and Doyle Bramhall 2.

Debi Ruud
Debi Ruud
Debi is a well loved artist from central California. She began her musical journey in contemporary gospel years ago, which then led her into pop, jazz and R & B. A Central California Valley performer, she has for years performed in local and national known bands, has lent her voice in worship with local churches, been heard on radio and television jingles, and she has found herself belting tunes in musical Theater. This particular album has been a long time coming. It really does tell her "love story" so to speak. After years of waiting, she finally got the opportunity to pair up with long time friend and producer, Phil Sillas, to produce this album, intentionally crafted to tell her story. Many hours were spent choosing and writing songs that would do just that. This is not an album that you put on "to clean the house". This is an album that requires a sit down with a cup of coffee, or a glass of your favorite wine while you listen and absorb this tribute to love. One listener wrote, "If your intent was to put the listener in a very sincere and intimate experience, you succeeded masterfully" Debi's hope is that this album brings hope and healing to people with heart-break and reassures us all that music and love, is, at the end of the day, is really the only thing that matters.
